These posts are 2 years old now and I am finding the same problems and same excuses with Commission Junction! Everywhere I go, I hear the same stories. Even now in February 2009, I have been shorted commissions and am told garbage about cookies and improperly installed link code. I am very near my limit and am considering dumping them outright. I never have these problems with Amazon, Google Affliate network or others. I am going to attempt get my commissions from them before leaving. I wish there was some form of oversight in areas like this where we could out these guys and get them to clean up their act.

I recently did my own test to verify CJ's tracking, honesty and customer service. I purchased a number of items via different CJ advertisers banners I promote on my websites. Using a dummy computer, a different IP addy and with it set to accept all CJ's cookies. Out of the nearly $150. USD commissions I should have earned, I have been credited with just over $7.00 USD. No help from Customer Service (Bry-Bry), "its everyone elses fault". So in my opinion, CJ has NO truthful tracking, No customer service, little to no honesty.
Its funny how you get the penny commissions, but none of the real commissions $20. - $100.. Makes you wonder were all that money is going, doesn't it? Feb. 2007

Thanks Gerald I have now come across several people who CJ have deactivated. What annoys me most is the lack of communication. I'd like to know why they do this.

Matt: hope it continues to go well for you. Up until now I was pleased with CJ.

my CJ account was deactivated last year. I received no email warning me of it and when I emailed THEM asking why, I did not get a reply.

I figure there are simply not people to do business with.
