It’s Friday again so soon!

If you are new around here, every friday we run a post like this where we give users the chance to leave us a comment about whatever they want to. Tell us about your blog, our blog, or anything else on your mind.

The idea is to get a mini discussion going. The best commentor will be selected and given a link on our site, and we now also have a top commentor section.

Don’t miss out!

[Update]

Comment Friday post had 11 comments and we would like to recognize RC for his weird posts! He will be added to our list under Comment Friday at the top of the right column. I’d also like to thank Ryan for stopping by and commenting, he was a previous comment friday winner. Stop by next friday so you can get your blog linked up!

All day today the only thing I could think of is when grandma is going home. I love her very much, but how would you feel if you couldn’t breath?

Grandma went into one of her temporary comas, but since she hasn’t went into a coma for a while, we wasn’t sure if we should chance it by running outside to get some air. If she wakes up and finds us not around, she might get bored and go into a coma again!

You’re probably all wondering what she smells like. Underarm and old socks! I know my grandma takes baths, just not sure if she changes the water. One time my big brother talked me into giving grandma a stick of deodorant for her birthday. She made me eat it, and it tasted like chalk, but my breath was fresh!

I have to cut this comment short, because grandma came back to life and is asking for her jello. Hope Dad didn’t take his gas mask to the field!

I guess I don’t completely understand the entire deal behind ‘monetizing’ your blog.

I’ve read a few posts on here about placing ads, all the hits, etc. That’s all good. But inevitably – what are you selling? Why are the people coming here? Why am I coming here? Is the capital gain worth the costs incurred. By costs, I mean in readership numbers.

I purposely don’t click on pay per click ads – and NEVER on the pay per post stuff. In fact, I click away quickly to a place where the material is genuine, thought out, and worthy of my time.

If I wanted to read something that someone was paid to write, I would turn my popup blocker off.

Speaking of pop up blockers… I’m pretty sure there is some non chalk tasting deodorant on the market. I haven’t eaten any for awhile so I can’t be sure.

Thanks for the tip, Ryan! I’ll look into it if I ever think about buying grandma another one, so I don’t have to go through that again.

I never click on text ads either, but if it will help Matt buy a stick of deodorant, then maybe I might.

Same thing just happened to me! When that popup popped-up because of two words in my last post, it made me scream!

Matt, you can forget about the deodorant, but I still like your blog!

Ok! I’ll click on a Google ad. No one should be denied their very own stick. I hear Right Guard is the best!

      It’s CLEAN! NO paid ads!

One of the “cleanest” I’ve seen so far.

I mostly just ranting because that’s what I do best. I don’t like ads on blogs. I won’t have them on mine but…..

This isn’t my blog, and I came back (obviously) so it’s not that bad. Besides hating ads, I also think people should be able to put on thier blog whatever blows thier hair back – even if it is annoying advertisments.

The little pop up things are pretty much over the top.

glad you like us enough to keep coming back =p

the ads are a little overwhelming, although I am curious as to how they will work out making money though, so I may keep them around for the time being. However I highly doubt that they will be permanent. Hope you understand

what do you think about that?

I didn’t know deodorant tastes like chalk. I always thought it tasted more like tar-paper.

I have absolutely no idea what this is all about, but that happens to me all the time. I’ve lost way too many brain cells since … since … since … OK, the CHANGE. There, I said it. Going to have to go lie down now.

So, what’s it all about, then? Will it make me rich & famous? Not interested if it won’t.

Anyway, my site is quite cool really. I only have Google AdSense and that’s mainly because I like to see what weird stuff they come up with. I’ve had these ads on for head lice treatments for a while now, ever since I posted an item called “Embarrassing Pubic Policemen (With Lice)”. Even when I deliberately move it off the main page, the head lice ads remain … then again, it takes ages to get rid of head lice, too.

Maybe your blog is infected, Witty Woman.

Seems like Googles AdSense doesn’t have enough sense, except the cents you make when someone clicks on those links, giving you enough to buy a Suzi-Q. I love those!

Yes Edward, it tastes like chalk. You should try it.

Culture Shiok!, thanks for liking my blog. I’m still working on an idea to improve it’s design, but you will never see ads… not even for deodorant.
