Not everyone is impressed with Linkreferral, affiliate marketing and MLM’s. Just do a google search on Linkreferral some time and read the comments page if you don’t believe me! Many prefer like me to just comment on what they find interesting on other people’s web sites and blogs. i do use entrecard and blogupp as get some hits from it but most just stay 5 secs. Who needs that? many are deluded into thinking this is FREE advertising but time is money and it takes time to visit these sites and drop and click on them! however; you get a shot at people here you would not ordinarily come into contact with. If you are a gifted writer and sell a good product, you just may grab them into being loyal readers or buyers of your product. That is up to you! Happy blogging and surfing!

Man...30 views & 5 reviews! There's no way I could keep up with that. Maybe if I wasn't already so busy visiting other blogs & commenting. I do see the value in it though.

Personally I would rather get into the types of ranking sites that rank me (per category) based on my traffic. That way I appear high up in the list only if I have higher traffic...that won't help new blogs I suppose.

How long were you able to keep this pace up?

I have been using link referral for about 3 months. I think it is a really good thing. It does take time to review sites - but I have found lots of useful information that I can use to promote my site.

well i found you on linkrefferal so it must be doning something right. As long as you keep feeding your blog with some content and keep it growing the traffic comes. the thing that people don't tell you is search traffic is pretty much where its at..i targeted about 2000 hits in one day on a ad and after that it was dead. advertising on the web is not for us bloggers all we have to do is write away and hope what where writing about gets noticed by a search engine.

Unless they've cleaned it up, there were a lot of referral links submitted as sites. You could only review honestly if the review was good because it doesn't really accept bad reviews.

even if its not long or anything i think the reviews are the most essential part.

you are getting quick free and easy critiques about your blog. some are stupid and you can throw out, but you can get some insight in what people think of your website on first impression etc

i dont know how valuable the hits/traffic are, but it is somewhat targetted, and I have had a few people find us there and became regular visitors

The visiting 30 sites a day thing sounds like something which can be done quite easily, I don't know if there is any time on it or not. But even if it is, that part of the deal to me appears to be pretty much something like you'd see on programs like Blogmad or Blog Explosion, simply without the randomness factor. Most people would simply go through the 30 sites as fast as possible to get themselves up in the rankings.

Also hits you'd receive from them wouldn't really mean much, most would probably simple do it for their own benefit anyways. What would be more interesting to see on programs like this is how many visitors you get through them actually results in returning visitors or people taking the time to comment.

Writing up a review will take them to stay on the site a bit longer, but so far what I have seen on other blog directories on which you can gain position by reviewing other's blogs the reviews are pretty short and limited. Not taking more than a minute or 5 to write. In the end also this served just one purpose for the most again anyways, getting themselves up.

I could be wrong, but I just don't think there are enough serious people in programs like these to put the time in it to be a serious participant yourself.
