Comment Friday for May 11th

Comment Friday is a fun and simple idea. Leave us a comment about anything you want. By leaving a comment, you will have your blog visited by me, and you may even be featured as our Blog of the Week. I will select a blog from the comment list to have a small post written and featured as our comment friday winner.

This week I am aiming for 50 comments! I know we can do it, it seems people just stop by for our fridays!

Last Friday’s winner was Love All Books. He decided to make his own Comment Friday, and recognized Blog about your Blog. We appreciate it and love the fact that other blogs are wanting to start their own comment friday. Make sure to stop by Love All Books Comment Friday as well. If you want to host one, feel free to. Just link back to our comment friday post, and we will link to you!

I think is the time issue rather than getting old, Zura. I’ve been so busy at work for weeks now since one of my teammates left 3 weeks ago. I notice that time really flies!

Have a nice weekend everyone. Can’t wait for it as I have lots my own stuff to do…

Crikey, I feel old now. I’m 50, and yes the years do go by faster and faster all the time. I mean, really, isn’t the day after tomorrow supposed to be Valentines Day, not Mother’s Day? I am so confused!

Yeah, part of it is age, but part is also how busy we get as we age. This past semester just flew by.

But Maniac does have an excellent point, one I make more often as every year passes more quickly and had to comment on frequently at my last birthday. Sure, hitting 50 (is that how it goes? Hrmm. That’s not right. You become 21, you turn 30, your pushing 40, you reach 50! Yes, that’s it! Thank you Larry Miller! Now, where was I? Oh, yes.) . . . reaching 50 sounds bad, but it’s not as bad as not reaching 50, is it?

I live in a duplex. The guy in the front unit smokes so much weed that the smell drifts into my place. I tried to cover the scent with a vanilla air freshener, but the scents intermingled and now my home smells like burnt bananas.

See some of you on Sunday perhaps, with or without hangovers, young and old alike.

So I’m cruising around the Internet and discover this site asking me to comment about anything I would like. I generally have so much to say but right now, the only thing I am able to come up with is a toast:

Here’s to our Mothers. Without their words of wisdom we would be caught with dirty underwear if we had to go to the hospital.

I can’t believe I am sitting here on a Friday night surfing blogs! At least after reading the comments here, I know I am in good company. Really, I could think of worse ways to spend a Friday night too. I could be forced to go to my inlaws for dinner, or to a crappy movie, or my kids could both be sick and throwing up everywhere. I’ve had all of the above happen on various Friday nights in the past year. Yeah, I’ll take surfing blogs over all of that any day. πŸ™‚

      Have a great Friday.

Aloha ahiahi (good evening)on a sad Friday night. My son was able to visit this week for the first time in two years, and he flew home today. Depression is trying to grab ahold, so I’ve decided to spend tomorrow at the beach, basking in the sun and reliving the happy moments of this week.

I’m comment number forty. You’re only ten from your goal! Go, go, go!

I wish I was number 42, then everything would make sense. Oh well, I suppose it would make even greater sense if I was 6×9, because that certainly doesn’t equal 42.
