I wish I was number 42, then everything would make sense. Oh well, I suppose it would make even greater sense if I was 6×9, because that certainly doesn’t equal 42.

Aloha ahiahi (good evening)on a sad Friday night. My son was able to visit this week for the first time in two years, and he flew home today. Depression is trying to grab ahold, so I’ve decided to spend tomorrow at the beach, basking in the sun and reliving the happy moments of this week.

I can’t believe I am sitting here on a Friday night surfing blogs! At least after reading the comments here, I know I am in good company. Really, I could think of worse ways to spend a Friday night too. I could be forced to go to my inlaws for dinner, or to a crappy movie, or my kids could both be sick and throwing up everywhere. I’ve had all of the above happen on various Friday nights in the past year. Yeah, I’ll take surfing blogs over all of that any day.
