It's important then to spend a bit of time on your blogs appearance. Yes it sounds shallow but people are more likely to cast a second glance if your site looks attractive, different and clear. Rock on up with a plain blogger.com skin and your average punter will no doubt yawn, go back to what they were actually doing and wait the 30 seconds out.
