Comment Friday for July 27th

Comment Friday has really become a great feature on the blog. I think some of our readers just hang around here for that. Jatecblog recently mentioned that comment friday was one of the best ideas they’ve seen. I am glad to have such a support for the idea.

I wanted to thank a few people who have really been plugging comment friday. Techsplorer has started their own comment friday, and make sure to mention BAYB every week. He even made up a little banner, I thought it was really nice. cf_seal_trans.gifHome Mom writes her weekly post and has been including BAYB as well. IngaOz has also started a comment friday and also mentioned us. Brown Baron has tweaked the idea making it his own in the form of Open Comments on Sundays.

Of course without other bloggers support we wouldn’t be where we are at. Especially the support from our authors. Now it’s your turn. Who has really went above and beyond, and supported you and your blogs? Leave us a comment, and drop some link love about your support team.

Remember one lucky commenter will be featured on our blogroll as Blog of the Week until next friday. If you have something else on your mind, we want to hear that too!

Along the way, I’d have to credit MLW for supporting (tolerating?) my blog habit thang. It’s especially nice that just in the past few months, she has also become more involved. She even kicked off her own niche blog, Russian Adoption Journal, that’s close to overtaking our main blog in avg. daily traffic due to the very supportive international adoption community. Those enthusiastic IA parent bloggers are quite a close-knit bunch!

2Dolphins hasn’t been one to get very many comments, but here recently, several fellow bloggers have been especially supportive and have helped to spark more reader input. Giving credit where it’s certainly due, I’ve gotta give shouts out to Grace over at NeonScent, David at CreativeDesign, and Jon at SmartWealthyRich. There are certainly others who I’m neglecting to mention in my early morning haze, but, well, you know who you are and I sure appreciate your supportive efforts!

I don’t want to be featured. My blog is in a state of disarray. But I have a wonderful support system for my online endeavors, and for keeping me sane. Both Bob and Wontar have been supportive through comments, email, and straight-up advice, when I need it.

They’re great guys! But don’t go hittin’ up my posse, yo?

My husband introduced me to the ‘blog world’ as he is a techie person. He found the WordPress and set up the whole thing for me. Also, he always corrects my grammar before I post any articles on my blog.

Have a good weekend everyone – esp. people in the UK, sunny tomorrow seems.

      Yay I’m early!

I’ve been lucky enough to have most of my regular victims I mean visitors supporting me. Either through weekly link love, stumbling posts, or just mentioning my blog, they’ve given me a lot of support and I’m really thankful.

      Thanks for the mention 🙂

Glad you asked, Matt! I don’t think ShanKri-la would be what it is without the constant support of these fine folks!

My friend Matt Jabs of eJabs has been a great supporter since the beginning online and offline! Tim of Daily Cup of Tech gave me a nice boost into the blog world by featuring us as the ‘Tech Blog of the Week’. Chris at Blog-Op never fails to pass an opportunity to encourage me. Garry Conn has been very supportive and helpful as well and he introduced me to Kyle’s Cove. Now, Kyle and I are becoming good friends.

Plus, of course I can’t do this without my regular readers.

Is it just me or did that seem like a speech at the Oscars. 🙂

As most others have said, without my readers, I wouldn’t have blogs. However, there are two people out there who have really made me feel like part of the blogging community.

My friend Matt Huggins has really gone to great lengths to support my blog. And my friend Danielle is always there when I need a little ego boost.

I owe a lot to these two people.

Hi, first I’d like to thank ya for the linky love, I haven’t made up my Friday Fun post yet, it’ll be in a few minutes…I wanted to write up my blogathon one. Anyone here doing it? Well now that I see yours and Char’s are up and rearing already I can post actual links. 🙂 Woo hoo!

As for your question I think it is the loyal readers that help me out and from time to time those little links they put out to spread the word. Stumbles, Digg and of course the two Communities (blogcatalog and mybloglog).

Without a doubt, it has been Kiltak from Geeks Are Sexy. He has given me a ton of pointers and ideas for my blog. Not only that, but he constantly diggs and shouts my posts.

Can’t say enough about the guy, he is awesome (and has a great blog of his own that I contribute to!).

I just recently discovered how utterly important my readers are to my life (with the announcement of my pending divorce). They are always the support when crazy things are happening. I love them all and can’t pin point anyone over any other.

I love blogging and all the community that comes with it.

I would have to give major credit to my husband who has a well read blog, MarketingPilgrm.com He has been super busy with writing a book, keeping up his blog and consulting that he has very little time or energy to help out a newbie like me, but he has still managed to help me.

I’d also like to give props to Blog about your Blog how has given great advise and also linked to my site in a post.

      Thanks guys!

There have been many great people who have supported my blog but the two I’d like to thank here are Bob of http://www.bobbarama.com (he was the one who encouraged me to start the blog) and Ed of http://thepisstakers.com because he was there commenting from my very post and has stuck around and become a friend. And Matt, you were there at the beginning of my blog too, a big thank you to you as well.

Glad to have found you again, this time i will be sure to bookmark you.

ooops! i forgot to answer your question, about who has supported me the most. I’ve been blogging for 4 months now, and i would say i have three supporters right now. Susie over at Jolly Green Girl is one of my top commenters and always drops by to say Hi and see what i’m up to. Then Terence over at terencechang.com has been a big supporter even helping me with techy stuff on the side. And last but not least Jon from http://www.smartwealthyrich.com who actually installed the wordpress blog for my new Groovy Vegetarian, he was wonderfully helpful.

Another resource that has been vital to my blogging efforts and is also where i met all the folks i just mentioned above is Blog Catalog, a bloggers community. Worth a visit.

      Missy.

Well, I’m back (finally; and no, I haven’t been gone picking up my son at camp all this time!)

I’d have to say that BAYB has been my biggest supporter since I started hanging out here a few months back.
