MyBlogLog clones...

Are you aware of the madness that sees 120,000 new blogs launched every single day of the week? Cwazy talk. And how do these people keep in touch, network, interact, and improve the world of blogging? Via MyBlogLog clones, that is how!...

I think the do both strategy is best. I think the community feature along with hiring Jon, as Adam reports above, is a big trump card for Blog Catalog. Bumpzee is a distant third from what I can tell, especially in terms of navigation.

Check my post on the subject, by clicking my blog name above..
Thanks!

I have used Mybloglog a bit more than BlogCatalog, but will be using Blogcatalog more consistently for two reasons.
First, just today I noticed their widget gives you the time of the visit of the member...not Mybloglog.
Second, Jon of SmartwealthyRich.com was just hired by Blogcatalog as a Blogger Relations expert.
Jon is a good example of you get out of it what you put in.

At least for now, the Discussion part of Blog Catalog makes it feel more like a community than MyBlogLog. I believe things will change soon, as the competition has made MyBlogLog owners realize they couldn't just keep things as they were, but still, for now Blog Catalog is the place to be.
