I just recently ran into just this problem! I had incorporated a video off of YouTube for a recent blog Carnival and suddenly it stopped working! I shrieked! I went back to YouTube and the guy was gone too... along with my little video. *Sniff!* Fortunately, the story was about a restaurant and they still had the TV commercial that the video was about on their own website. I just provided the link to their site instead, removed the YouTube block, <a href="http://www.homespunhonolulu.com/carnival-of-aloha-chapter-2-the-ohanas-together/" rel="nofollow">made mention of it and left it at that</a>. I don't know if they made a fuss about the YouTube video or if the guy just pulled up his stakes and ran away. (shrug) This is very timely, very true and very appropriate. My only reservation is the need for caution when messing with other people's property. I do not want to get into any kind of uproar over anything like that! This is great.
