Movie? Seen a movie? Is that where you go into a dark cave-like room with rows and rows of seats and sit there and watch the moving pictures on the gigantic screen? If *that’s* what you mean, then it must be something along the lines of the first prequel to Star Wars. Kids are not movie friendly after that newborn all-I-do-is-eat-sleep-and-poop stage.

However, if by movie you mean any show longer than an hour, or something on DVD, I believe the last thing we watched was the original version of Father of the Bride. It was good, but I kept waiting for the sarcasm from Steve Martin, or the crazy antics of Martin Short. (I just had to go to IMDB and check that because “Martin” was in both names and I was sure that I had some sort of crossed neuron in my brain.) I guess I just like some movies with all their modern, sarcastic overtones.

I’ve seen several mediocre to bad films lately, but the last really good one I saw was Zodiac. There are several I’m looking forward to that are out now or coming out soon, with No Country For Old Men at the top of the list.

I watched American Gangster recently and i really liked the movie. Another good movie is Shoot Em Up which i saw a week back.

Oh, I forgot, I hardly ever watch movies because we do the Blockbuster thing and I usually fall asleep. I spend my “awake” hours at the computer… and some not so awake.

I don’t run enough either, although I keep trying.

My computer was driving me nuts too so I bit the bullet and installed more RAM. My computer now thinks it’s “all that.”

I recommend it highly. I have a company that can help you even if everyone has stopped selling your stuff! I gotta go find the receipt… wait… I got it… ya gotta love online banking! EDGE Tech Corporation is their name and it was quick and easy to get it here. They also returned my phone call when other companies did not!

The most recent good movie I’ve seen?

Wow, that takes me back. The past few movies I’ve seen have been okay – not too good or too bad, but the one I distinctly remember recently watching is Pan’s Labyrinth. I regret waiting so long to have seen it; after all, it’s a masterpiece. The way it blends reality with fiction and uses symbolism is simply amazing and it’s gotten rave reviews from nearly everyone. It was truly beautiful and a surreal experience.

I almost never get to go the the theatre. Who wants to spend $30 at the theatre + at least that much for sitting!? Last time I went I saw “Pirates of the Carribean 3″ with some friends. Before that my husband and I chaperoned with the youth group to go to a big drive-in-movied double-feature where we saw “Meet the Robinsons” and “Pirates 3″. After that we knew we’d just have to buy “Robinsons” which we finally did last week. So on Sunday we all watched it together as a family. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that movie! a great family film with a great message.

Matthew – I still haven’t gotten an e-mail from you. Should I submit another ‘contact’ form? (Yes, I am persistent! )
