I use Wordpress but used Fantastico to install it. Apparently that’s not the best way to do it, but it worked for me. I’ve also upgraded manually (which didn’t go well), but have now found a plugin to help me update it.

I first started using wordpress a year and a half ago when I registered mysitecometrue.com and got my first paid host. It was globat.com. Globat had an auto installer that let me install my wordpress. My blog got roughly 20 articles, (over a long period of time) and then was hacked. Globat was supposed to automatically update, but it never did, so I was open to exploits. Now, I just really got back into blogging. I installed my own wordpress and update it myself. It helps that I have a little hand in PHP and HTML. And no, i would not pay someone to set me up a wordpress blog… its too easy!

I use Wordpress and I simply love it. it likes using Windows OS for the first time. Easy to learn and not so complicated.

I moved to WordPress after more than 4 years with Blogger. I’m wondering why I didn’t jump sooner.

My host did the initial install but I’ve taken it from there. I’ve changed the theme and done the updates so I feel fairly confident with it all now.

Yes, I’m just set up Wordpress. They have step by step instructions so it is not too difficult. For real noobs, maybe they’ll pay someone to do it for them but as mentioned above, many hosts now offer instant set-up.

I use Wordpress and initially did pay someone to set it up. (with a theme, etc.) Now, I’m trying to figure it out all on my own…and sadly I’m not catching on very quickly!!
