Are you considering increasing your ScratchBack list to 10 or are you keeping it at 5?

If so, seems Im going to be knocked off soon. :( Boo Hoo.

I thought about this on mine. Double edgded sword.

One one hand, for the committed, with endless pots of money who want to ensure they are kept on your list, having only 5 will ensure thek keep 'donating' to keep on there when they are knocked off.

The flip side is, that some may just think, 'sod it, costs to much and im getting knocked off too quickly to keep feeding the metre."

I ended up changing mine to 10 as I would rather have more links on there and give the people who paid, a longer run at being visible.

I guess you can really blog about anything and be successful - providing the content is right.

Well, my opinion is we do it because we enjoy it. Even if I had no readers, I probably would still do it as it is a avenue for my internal ramblings, and more importantly, no one listens to me when I speak verbally. :0)

These things always have cycles of being in or out anyway. In their own time, things may reach saturation point and things 'may' change course. Who knows.

The great thing about all the Blogs on Blogging is the sheer variety of topics still being talked about in a novel way. And to hear the same subject, on multiple Blogs but in a different voice and manner is still great fun. Serious, clinical, stylish witty, arrogant, obnoxious yada yada, there is still so much scope to Blog about Blogging without content drying up too much. Novel twists and takes make it so diverse. It's a huge topic to cover so the boundaries are still being explored or revisited with new updates.

AT the end or the beginning of the day, it's 'your' choice to read a blog on blogging. The fact it is there is great, read it or dismiss it, someone else will come across it and find it useful or not. You can anaylise and find fault if you try hard enough, just let things be...

And when I say 'you' or 'your' I don't me you, ie Blog about Blogging specifically, I mean in general. Just wanted to clarify that... :)

See, even a Blog post about should we blog on blogging has ended up with one of my more lengthy comments. Go figure.

I blog about blogging sometimes. I have now for a time blogged about blogging and gave blogging tips etc. But now I've gone back to infotainment and my money tripled again so I would say blog about blogging but not only about blogging.

However, I do agree blogging is profitable. But in only certain conditions. I make about $500 a month blogging. Sounds a lot but the amount of effort I put into it probably doesn't make it justifyable. However, I do that instead of sitting in front of the television, and put the same amount of effort in when I was making $0 a month, so it's a nice bonus for me :).
