There is so much information and content on the internet that people get tired of reading it all and appreciate videos. In addition, videos allow the publisher to display their personalities and more effectively brand themselves or their company. Vlogging also allows for a lot more creativity. However, their is a video creation learning curve, which is why the move from blogging to vlogging will be a slow progression and transition. I think there will always be a combination of vlogging and regular blogging with more an more emphasis and information being provided via the video or vlogging overtime.
