Comment Friday – March 16
More comments, and another Friday!
If you are new around here, comment friday is a fun and simple idea. Leave us a comment about anything you want to. By leaving a comment, you will have your blog visited by me, and you may even get a link out of it. I will select a blog from the comment list to be linked to and have their link on our blogroll, until next friday. Our Friday’s have been catching on, don’t miss out.
Last Friday we had 22 comments, and Ryan was our winner. He just left one comment, that intrigued me, so I picked it as our winner. With that we even exchanged feed subscriptions. Now I am a daily reader of his blog. When we linked to him, he even linked back.
Don’t be shy, leave us a comment and share some link love. We also love promoting great new ideas, contests and that sort of thing. If you have something new and interesting at your blog, let us know.

Found my way here from Mike’s Money Making Mission, funnily enough I have an RSS link to his blog and agree wholeheartedly with your other post about the usefulness of RSS feeds. I use them all the time to keep a watch on blogs that I feel have content of interest to my interest of making money online. Just seemed somewhat ironic that finding my way here was partly via RSS.
Now I’ll have another RSS to add to my collection.

LOL – I was aiming to be first commenter and I’ve missed it! Welcome to the site John!!!!
Ok I was going to mention that coming up next week from me are two more articles directly on blogging and because I promised Matt (PoEt) I’m going to do an article on how I did the ewok poster from the crossover event at Quit Your Day Job so hopefully some of you will look forward to that!

Not sure how I found BlogAboutYourBlog but it is now in my queue for a review similar to the one I posted today on NotSoBoringLife.
Comment Friday is a pretty interesting idea and seems you’re able to generate quite a few comments.

I love your Idea, and yet I use the same WP template (water3-10) with yours . but 1 thing that I didn’t like about this template is the font is too small, so I increase the font size onto my blog.

For the month of March I am posting a photo a day (taken, adjusted, and uploaded) with a friend based upon prediscussed themes. This weeks posts are based upon the Seven Blunders of the World: a list that Mahatma Gandhi gave to his grandson Arun Gandhi during his last days.
Plus I wanted to let you know I have four rocks. In case you were wondering.

Hey, thanks for all the nice words on techboggle, I read your RSS usefulness post and have to agree, I checked my site logs and most of my traffic actually comes from my feed, so I am goin to test out that plugin you suggested to see how many feed readers I actually have, because if my FEED is higher than my index on what gets visited most, and I still get the number of uniques I get, im curious to see just how many feeders I got !
Great work on the blog, its really coming together.

Hey now! We are currently engaged in a battle of the blogs against each other. I’m currently procrastinating at work. I’ve been thrown headlong into learning basic bookkeeping in Quickbooks which wouldn’t be too bad if the books were in decent shape, but the last bookkeeper we had apparently got his CPA from a Cracker Jacks box. So needless to say, any distractions from banging my head against my desk with this stuff is more than welcome.

Happy Friday!
Your RSS article was very useful. I have about 14 subscribers on mine which I am quite pleased with as I have not launched my blog yet (still waiting on those banners I ordered!).

In an absolutely shameless self-promotion (and hey, you were going to visit my blog anyways), I’d like to grab your attention and squeeze out some feedback on my wordpress plugin project. The idea is that a moderator gets to choose distinguished comments, and those show up as such. With bonus points of a linkback. Seems right in line with the “Comment Friday”s, but it’s so easy, you could do it twice a week 😉

Just like Edward, I too had nothing to say before seeing the post, but feeding off of other people’s comments: Net news wire/Newsgator are fantabadozey feed readers, next week I m going to blog about something that has not happened yet, Demon’s blog doesnt suck too much, why does Word Press get all the good plug-ins? Comments Wednesday and Friday doesn;t sound as catchy as Comment Friday, I terminated a trial period with bookkeeping software mvelopes because my finances need a lot more than envelopes to sort them out, and apart from that, I have nothing to add, except take a break from reading about how to make money and relax at The Pisstakers. 🙂
