How do bloggers see their own blog?

The Pisstakers is a tongue-in-cheek site, to put it mildly, so sometimes, I have to post serious stuff here in order to be taken seriously!

I wanted to come up with a format that illustrates how different bloggers see their own blogs, (that is the serious objective) and enjoy bloggers’ quickfire and/or witty answers to loaded questions. (the entertaining objective.)

The middle way, between long, demanding interviews and ticked & crossed questionnaires seems to be a mini interview.

If you want to take part in a mini interview to appear on The Pisstakers, a marvellous PR5 sanctuary of happiness, please email me your responses to the following 5 questions. And remember, succinct answers to deep questions spiced up with a few deep links to your site, (plus a quick shake and a logo or two from me), and voilå, we have the makings of an educationally entertaining post.

1 – The hardest question first. What is the name of your website, and can you pick one feature or story to illustrate the flavor of the site to newcomers?

2 – This is a killer question if you are a perfectionist. In the history of the site, if there were one thing you could change, or one decision you could reverse, what would it be?

3 – Would you ever consider changing the name of your site to reflect the passing of time? For instance, after reading through The Onion and comparing the first posts with the latest, the name Has Bean kept springing to mind. What do you think in your case?

4 – Back on track, how many has beens, I mean, writers, does it take to create your site? And how much do they earn per hour?!

5 – Finally, if you could get an article published on any website on earth, other than your own, which would it be, and why?

I will do one batch a week and see how we go. I will also award points to each respondent and the highest score each month gets an indepth review and some prize I can’t think of right now.

Thanks for listening.

Lee, thanks for the sharp insights. Good info for other personal blog bloggers to take note of and learn from. Keep em coming, folks, for the first batch later this week. Everyone’s welcome, especially humor bloggers!

Hey Lee, you did the brave spot, first, and it came out pretty good, I think. You have set a little trend and I am about to post the second one tonight. Thanks.

Remember, to keep down the pain, answer them quick, from the hip.
