The story goes that if you put an infinite number of monkeys in a room with a load of typewriters, they will eventually produce the entire works of Shakespeare. According to author Andrew Keen in his new book The Cult of the Amateur

Well, yes. Soon, everybody and her dog will have a blog – and the dog’s puppies will have blogs as well.
So hopefully our blogs are finding a way to cut through the ever-increasing noise – not by shouting louder, but by influencing more.
