Blogging for Blood Cancer

I was notified about this great opportunity about blogging for cancer. Bloggers are more powerful than they realize, I always like putting blogging to good use.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Recently several people that have been in my life have either been diagnosed with cancer, or have, unfortunately, already passed away from cancer.
A huge percentage (It was on the news, something like 60%) of people will have cancer at some point in their lives. Sadly it’s a real possibility that you or someone close to you has cancer. Something needs to be done about it.
To raise awareness of the program, you can blog about it. At Friends of Heroes they have different information about different events to help out. The latest is their light the night walk.
I really wish there was more information on the contest post. To get the “good” information you really have to click a few links.
Donations
I’m guessing this whole contest is to really get people involved, and increase donations and participation in this community. At Friends of Heroes, every 75 cents of a dollar is spent towards supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission of a cure. You can find out what your donations do.
Also, make sure you to, blog for blood cancer.
By blogging I can also chose which prize I most want, which doesn’t really matter. For the sake I’d have to select any gift card or a nice gift for the newest addition to the family, my nephew who is expected any day now.

What a great and worthy cause! I don’t maintain a traditional blog, but I am working on a few Squidoo lenses for the iHope shop to raise funds for cancer research.

yes, the government knows about it but kept it illegal due to profit for alchohol and cigaritte. Marijuana has strong medical benefit include killing cancer and tumor cells while leaving normal cells alone.
what suck is the government is still stubborn and taking everything out of our pocket for their own best interest, not in people
