   Thank you for the great list. I just submitted my blog to two directories.

   I like using Pijoo (http://www.pijoo.com/). There’s more of a community/social networking aspect to it, and it’s easy to submit posts and comment on people’s blogs.

    I have submit some of the directory, but what i really don’t like is, I need to put their small banner or tag or what ever they call at my blog, if I submit about 15 directories so there are 15 small banner, that make my eye sick… That make me submit just some of it.

    You should combine the backlinks from blog directories with the backlinks from the articles you submit (on topics closely related to your blog’s most important keywords).

    A properly developed backlink program will deliver far more targeted traffic to your blog due to its impact on the search engines than due to the actual directory links themselves.

    Since I update this list weekly there are now 347 entries listed with NO DEAD LINKS.)

    Included as a sub-category of the overall list are PRIORITY DIRECTORIES, which consists of 48 blog directories and RSS submission sites that should be on every bloggers “must join” list.
