Website Magazine: Top 50 Affiliate Networks
- 29 Comment
Website Magazine is “the magazine for website success”. In the May 2009 issue they have articles like “Traffic without Digg or Stumbleupon” and article marketing. However, the most eye catching for me was Top 50 Affiliate Networks ranking.
So Who’s Number 1?
In the rankings they didn’t rank Google’s Affiliate Network or Amazon, which seems fair enough. The #1 rank was ClickBooth. I’ve never really been a fan of ClickBooth and I’ve had the most trouble with them. Not the company, just trying to figure it out. I think it’s #1 mostly because it’s easiest to set-up your own affiliate program with them, I know many bloggers use it for that reason.
Seeing the list there are so many companies I don’t use and haven’t heard of. OurFreeStuff.net, Copeac, XY7, and RevenueLoop round out the rest of the top 5, with Copeac being the only one I’m a member of. I haven’t liked Copeac much at all, from affiliate managers not emailing me back, to the lack of good offers.
The rest of the networks I use, Linkshare, HydraNetwork, MarketLeverage, PepperjamNetwork, and Logical Media were all ranked. The only one missing was Neverblue, which I was surprised was left off the list. You can read my reviews of each network by clicking on their name.
Find out how your favorite affiliate network ranked.
Free Website Magazine
I breezed through the magazine (it was only 50 pages with quite a few ads) but there is substance to it. On top of that it was free. Get your free subscription by just following that link and filling out the information. Valid for new subscribers only, in the US.
As I join the top 50 affiliate networks I’m not a member of I will be posting reviews as well. As you wait for those here are some great affiliate networks to join:
Linkshare
HydraNetwork
MarketLeverage
PepperjamNetwork
Logical Media

I would like to know about new affiliate marketing networks that have been going above and beyond in the online affiliate marketing world. An affiliate network that has no problems and is new to the business?

I have used a number of affiliate programs but the customer service at PepperjamNetwork has blown the others away. I contacted PepperjamNetwork with a request and I received a phone call and email from the customer service rep. Further, she gave me her direct email address and phone extension, and responded to my emails within a few hours at most. Then a few days later, she sent a follow-up email to see how it was going. PepperjamNetwork’s customer service is amazing.

I don’t know about NEW networks, but the ones I listed are great to start with.
PepperJam is definitely one of my favorites as well. The support is great.
I don’t run many UK offers, but several of the ones I have listed also do UK offers. Hydra does a lot I believe… MarketLeverage maybe?

I know a lot of people complain but I just stick with Clickbank. They aren’t perfect but they have a lot of products that I’ve made good money promoting. In the end its about the money you can make.

I tried a lot of these different companies which I found was a big mistake, now I just use 2 or 3 and stick with them. Many of these companies need you to have a good amount of sales until they do a payout and I have left many of these affiliate places with money in them just giving up because I could never reach their payout levels, which is what I think many count on.

Try some online jobs, where you don’t have to pay upfront money. Online data entry is an excellent career to consider if you want to work at home. The equipment needed for this type of job is very minimal. You only need a computer with an Internet connection, a table and a comfortable chair.

That’s something! Clickbooth have been one of those networks standing in the back for a while. It’s about time for maximum recognition. The simplicity is admirable. Great post…

I also use LinkShare, I find it to be a great Affiliate Network, Did I just really see CJ ranked at #6? That’s gotta be a mistake! Linkshare is way better than CJ
Till then,

I wonder how long Commission Junction will dominate the industry when there are so many other affiliate management companies that do everything better.
