Customize Your Homepage with Homepagle
I found a new site, Homepagle, that has the makings for being an interesting way to market your website or blog. If your sneaky, like me.
Create Your Homepage
When I first visited this website it was one of the moments. Those moments in which you tell yourself “Why Didn’t I Think of That?” Then I began to think how I could use this to help me. When creating your own homepage you can upload an image if you want to. It’s basically Google with a customizable feature.
Why not upload a banner promoting your website or blog? This may not impact anything if you just use it for your own homepage, but think bigger. By putting a network of computers as that it can be effective. Another great way to advertise your website for free!
Now all they need now is to put your own “favorite” links and websites and rss feeds. Add my homepagle as your homepage!

instead of just having google as your homepage like many people do, its a way to customize it and make it your own.
I chose to upload a banner of our website. If I added it to 1,000 computers it’s great branding.

You’d have to of course manually do this as Rhy said

The image does not link to anything so without writing the URL on the image ad, someone coming up to a random computer wouldn’t know it was advertising a specific website.
Or am I just confused on this one?March 22nd, 2008 at 8:59 pm -

correct, a better image would be blogaboutyourblog.com
However the image is great for branding. As I said the next feature they need is clickable links and rss feeds, even more customization.
