Comment Friday for January 25th
Things have been pretty consistent here. Posts have been good as well as our rss count. Project Wonderful, is still working out for us (advertise for only .60 cents a day right now). I hope to have a review prepared next week. In the entrecard shop we have banner space back up for sale (500 credits for a week). Also, Brians post yesterday is featured on Search Engine Journal. We’ve been busy!
If this is your first Comment Friday we give one lucky person a free weekly blogroll spot as our “blog of the week“. Along with that we are also giving that winner 100 entrecard points.
Leave us a comment about anything you want. This week I’m particularly interested in interviews. Have you conducted interviews on your blog? Have you been interviewed? Do you enjoy reading them? Should we bring back interviews for Blog about your Blog?
As always tell us what articles you’d like to see here. Any questions are welcome!
Be next weeks Comment Friday sponsor for 3$! Contact us.

Happy Friday!
No, I have not conducted any interviews on my blog yet but it’s something I’ve been planning on doing for a while. I always tell myself I need to do something and then I don’t. I also made myself a New Years resolution to guest blog at least once a month, and I have not done that yet for January.
But I guess I’d better get on it. I love interviews and I love reading them, so yes, I think they should be brought back here – and at some point in the future I might do a couple on my blog as well.

I had a chance to interview an author yesterday! It’s a long story…well not really.
Two weeks ago I sent the author of a published book an email, telling him how much his book had influenced and affected me. He sent an email back saying that he was deeply moved and that he’d like to speak to me sometime. So I dropped him my number and last night, he called my phone. It’s funny because suddenly I forgot all the ideas and questions I’d had in my head. I was just totally surprised that I was talking to this person who had possibly changed my life and written a great book too.

I don’t do interviews on my blog. I had enough of those in real life to find them mostly boring.
But, I have been interviewed twice.First time for some blog promoting thing. I did it myself by myself.
Second time, on Novak’s blog. Both time it was lot of fun, cause, let’s face it, I don’t exist, I am virtual. So, it is not just telling what something about me is, it is finding out it first.

I’ve thought of guest posts, but not interviews. Although I would like to be interviewed- I have a lot to say about nothing.

Cool concept also congrats on getting on SEJ; I was mentioned in top 20 blog directories and it continues to this day to deliver solid monthly traffic.

I didn’t miss it this week!!
And as far as interviews go, I haven’t yet, but I’d like to at some point. My biggest issue would be finding someone that’s utterly crazy..and coming up with equally as crazy questions for them to play off of, lol. After all, my blog isn’t about normal stuff, so I don’t want to bore my readers.
I think bringing back interviews here could be a good thing. I enjoy reading them on other sits anyway…it brings in a unique personality (and information usually) and adds to the mix.

If you should think about interviewing me, I definately would say yes.
One reason for this is that it will give my blog more exposure and your’s to. Because I think I wil automatically write a post on my blog that states I was interviewed 😉
Go for it!!

Actually, I’ll be doing an interview this weekend, with Dennis Bjorn Peterson of The Beta News. I’m honored that he asked me. But, I’m kind of nervous, even though I’ve been blogging for a while now, I’m still kind of guarded when it comes to sharing information.

I could only be interviewed regarding what a newbie can do wrong and not see right in front of thier face! I spent a few hours trying to figure out my stupid rss feed.. could slap myself up the head, its a text widget thats needed for this, and for some reason, I couldn’t get past adding a RSS one in the sidebar, dah! Nice blog very easy to navigate.

I have not conducted any interviews just yet, and really hadn’t thought about it. But what a great traffic builder as well as the articles that can be built on someone else’s business outlook and strategies. I guess a good starting point for me would be to focus on the stay-at-home mom/dad’s start-up-biz. Thanks for planting those seeds!

I’m interviewed about once a month or so from different real estate publications and national websites.
I was interviewed recently by Crain’s Business about the housing market and advice for sellers in this time. The interview is on my blog and another magazine a couple of days ago which will feature my in a full page spread due to my blog and website.
The best part about being interviewed, especially about something you’re passionate about is bypassing the assumed answers and telling it truthfully and letting all apprehensions go.
Due to this post, I’m going to start interviewing for my blog. I’m going to make an attempt this weekend.
The opinions and answers come from an outside source other than your own.
Thanks for the idea.
Your page is very smooth and easy to navigate. I like that my eyes can focus on the content and not all the flashing ads other sites have.
Thumb’s up for the simplicity and non stressful experience.
