Key word ideas from Wordtracker
The common mistake is to fight for first page recognition with a single keyword. If you sell wallets and you rely on "wallet", you are faced with two obstacles on your road to riches. Firstly, the big spending sites will always be ahead of you in the results and secondly, "wallet", or any single keyword, is normally of use only to people doing a first time search, or undertaking general research. ie you will attract visitors with little or no intention of taking any immediate action.
However, if you try to attract the people about to take a final step in the decision-making process ie appeal to those people who have done their general research and are ready to make a purchase, your keyphrase could be "pink wallet in Switzerland". This will attract less traffic in total, but what you do get will be higher quality, and you will be yodelling all the way to the bank.
The other tip for applying this keyword strategy is to have lots of pages. Google likes pages, and this also enables you to have two nets laid to attract visitors. You use conventional keywords on most pages, ie "wallet" and use the more specific expanded keyword phrases on the rest.
Chicken and egg
This is The Pisstaker checking out and consoling myself that as a website with PR0, I have no chance of getting links to my site. Apparently the general wisdom is that you should only be interested in linking to sites with PR3 and above! Mike Perry's 50 visitors a day minimum sounds far more practical and in the spirit of the internet.Friday, December 29, 2006
BlogAboutYourBlog Forum
I'm not much of an expert with phpbb, so it will take me a little longer to get the forum the way I want it. Right now I think I am ready for some members to get the forum started.
The forum concept is just like the blog concept, promoting your blog. There are other things as well. I wanted to shape it around places like bloggerforum. The difference seems to be a strong 'promotion and money earning' impact of it.
Please join the forum and start posting about whatever you want, feedback is vital right now for me. I'd love to know what you think. What should be added and what should be removed. Different wording etc. I did this all by myself so a nice proofread would be great.
Thank you all of the BAYB readers and authors for making this a nice little community on its own.

Blog of the Year Voting
First off, great turnout! Congrats to all of those who are getting votes, and leading their categories. A little change, or stipulation. Since there are only 4 brackets, and not the intended 5, there will be 1 wild-card spot given to the leading vote getting, who did not win their bracket.
So if you have some pretty stiff competition, you still have a great shot to make it into the finals.
If you haven't voted for Blog of the Year, you can do so by going here and here
Every vote counts! Thanks.

A common doctor question is "Are you taking prescriptions?". What are you supposed to say? "Yeah I take 5... they are...uhh"
With a program like Epocrates Online there is another resource to show what you are taking as well as provide extra information about different drugs. I would suggest to all involved in healthcare. This is a solid and much needed idea.

How about one that has won awards for quality care? I would feel a little more comfortable with that as well.
Charles Brown dds pc has a perfect dental 'record' with no complaints ever in his 10+ years of dentistry. On top of that, Charles Brown DDS is listed as one of the regions top dentists by the Washington Area Consumer Council. Quite a resume for a dentist.

YouTube Karaoke
Scroll and Sing:
I sit and wait
does an angel contemplate my fate
and do they know
the places where we go
when we´re grey and old
´cos I´ve been told
that salvation lets their wings unfold
so when I’m lying in my bed
thoughts running through my head
and I feel that love is dead
I’m loving angels instead
and through it all she offers me protection
a lot of love and affection
whether I’m right or wrong
and down the waterfall
wherever it may take me
I know that life wont break me
when I come to call she wont forsake me
I’m loving angels instead
when I’m feeling weak
and my pain walks down a one way street
I look above
and I know ill always be blessed with love
and as the feeling grows
she breathes flesh to my bones
and when love is dead
I’m loving angels instead
and through it all she offers me protection
a lot of love and affection
whether I’m right or wrong
and down the waterfall
wherever it may take me
I know that life wont break me
when I come to call she wont forsake me
I’m loving angels instead

Video income update
Since the last post, I came across a few tips on paid video hosting alternatives. Again, I can't remember who exactly gave out the pearls of wisdom, (they are linked to this blog somehow) but the upshot of it is, Youtube are the big kahuna and not paying us bloggers a dime, and the paying alternatives are good in theory, but currently short on mass appeal. One option to make money from videos, if I read it correctly, requires you to spend several hours a day of hard graft, copy and pasting for $50 a month! No thanks, my time is better spent building up my blog, not expanding their library.
Which brings me round to the point of this post. We like the "attract lots of traffic and THEN make money" route. It was just a gut feeling, based on "life experience of business, man", until yesterday when I saw how this tactic is reaping spectacular rewards for John Chow who started monetizing his 250,000 visits a month traffic in October. Maybe Adsense and co have their place in Pisstakers articles, but for the video department, I feel that cents, even tens of dollars don't matter too much on the road to creating an appealling and useful feature that should attract a ton of extra (monetizable in the long term) visitors to our blog. So we are going to use Revver technology to make a great video section that has content that we think will make Digg look very superficial.
Being techy for a moment, if anyone wants a desktop alternative to Revver, with all the looks and then some, check out Carousel from YourHead. Another slick option for a movie gallery. You have to roll your own links, which is a downside, but it has the great advantage that it can be styled to suit your theme and more importantly lets you show films from anywhere on the internet.
Of course the limitation is you need a Mac and you need Rapidweaver software, and you need some imagination, like Boomchilds, but hey, if you are a winner, that isn't too much of a stretch:) Happy New Year from The Pisstakers

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY READERS AND BLOGABOUTYOURBLOG~~
Newbie Here.....My Introductory Post

I came across this site from Quit Your Day Job and thought, hey, why not! I am fairly new to the blogging arena, but like many other people, I feel I have something to say, want to share or just needed an outlet. Blogging sounded like the ticket!
My blog is called Worth It All. It is just a little blog with feel good stuff on it as I am always trying to find my own "inner peace". As I say in my profile, "I am not a religious person, but I find comfort in quotes and the Dalai Lama. Sum it up for me in a sentence that makes me ponder, and I'll be your friend." I also enjoy photography, so you will see some of my images on there, mostly floral, and stories that just give you a warm fuzzy feeling. Other times, you might just find something silly or cool that I have found (or found through someone else) on the internet that I think is worthy of sharing for fun. (Lee has found a couple of things I have posted on my blog).
Thanks for letting me join your community. See you around on Blog About Your Blog!

Track Santa with NORAD
Getting Traffic from Forums
Getting more traffic by using forums is a keypoint I made on my article 7 steps to getting more traffic so I figured I would elaborate a bit on this topic.
I've had success and received traffic with two particular forums.
BloggerForum
I've gotten traffic pretty easily here. There are many questions asked here, bloggers helping bloggers. Questions like "How can I get more traffic", or "Which traffic exchange should I use?". Certain questions come up so much I've written my own articles for them. I answer with a link and the visitors come to read what I wrote.
I've also have attached my blogs to a signature so everytime I post, my links are there. ExtremeTracking tells me I have received 147 visitors from that site, and I've only posted only 80 posts.
Not only is it a good resource to get traffic, with so many different bloggers it is a great site to use for information and help. You can also find other bloggers looking to link exchange, help you with a template, or just comment on your blog.
Cash Buddy Cafe

After being a member here for only a few days, I've already had a good experience there. It is a paid to post forum, right now they are offering advertising for the buddy$ you get. After a few posts, I've purchased some advertising and am waiting for it to kick in.
There are tons of categories to post about, from blogging to money making. It seems to be a newly revamped site, they are getting a decent amount of new members daily. When you sign up put ffnstuff as your referral. Hope to see you there soon, I need some help to kick start the blogging section!

Understanding search engines
Most of it is trial and error. What works with one blog may not with another. After your website begins to grow, you can start to depend on search engine traffic. Many people wonder how to become ranked higher on such search engines, like google. To get yourself ranked higher you must first understand how it works. A great article to find this is, how to build backlinks. It gives you a good idea of what to do. There are a list of do's and dont's that will definitely point you in the right direction.

Revenue from on-line video hosting
Big bucks in the future of video
Text ads are all well and good, but audiences need ever more engaging material to persuade them to part with their money. That isn't just my wishful thinking for a move on from Adsense. The current figures spent on video advertising, around $400m per annum, have been predicted to rise to over $2bn within a couple of years. (I am a Pisstaker trying to be serious, so please, trust me, I read it on the internet, but can't remember where.)Essentially, advertisers will be moving their money out of TV and onto the internet. And that makes sense, because last year internet time overtook TV time for the first time, so the masses are attuning to on-line life. Equally important for advertisers is the fact that internet sites specialise often to ridiculous degrees. Cables to go and British Virgin Island stamps to name but two! That has to appeal to marketeers whose aim in life is to find specific audiences for as little outlay/waste as possible.
Traditional or stodgy video ads
On the front page of Yahoo finance and other heavyweights you should see good examples of where the future lies for advertisers using video on-line in a "traditional" way. That style of advert could apply equally to blogs where Adsense has got old already and there is a decent width sidebar available.Viral video ads
On Revver, like Youtube, you will see more companies displaying products in entertaining adverts that go "viral" ie popularity of a product explodes through the word-and-mouth process that seems to flourish on social websites. Music and movies are a good example of that phenomenon. Scion, one of our pet topics on the Pisstakers, and a horrible butt ugly box of a car, was launched on-line without much humor, and sadly is quite successful. How to make money from video ads
So how do video adverts, Revver and bloggers combine to make money? Like millions of bloggers on a budget, along with millions of companies on a budget, we aren't going to prepare video adverts. Far from it, we want to entertain our visitor with mindless fun clips made with someone else's money. Revver provides that opportunity for nothing! The even better thing about Revver is that they enable cheapskate advertisers to get on popular videoclips by association ie a simple display ad at the end of a videoclip. The even more phenomenal thing for cheapskate publishers like us bloggers is that we can earn some revenue by hosting those videos - the ones made by other people, with other people's ads stuck on the end.In proper English, the Revver busness model is based on sharing the income from a click-through ad placed at the end of every videoclip. The advertiser pays Revver an unknown sum per click and then 20% goes to the site hosting the video, 50% goes to the maker of the video and 30% for Revver. We have made 65 cents so far and rising. It is a start and the future is looking promising - we think - so we are happy to be in on the act at this early stage.
Merry Christmas and join the millions watching fun videoclips on-line, and if you see any good 'uns, add the faves to the Pisstakers collection too. It beats TV.
No Other Rock
This vision I recieved has been going through my mind a great deal, and never moreso than as of late. It wasn't until recently that I was able to understand it more fully. One of the things that has resulted from this recent blogging is the development of my new blog, No Other Rock.
Beginning January 1, 2007, I will begin posting about personal spiritual development issues in tandem with the daily devotionals found in J. Sidlow Baxter's Awake My Heart. I highly encourage you to follow along if you feel so moved.

Weddings
The proceeds will go to the Blog of the Year Award
I feel like I am repeating myself, but business is changing. Websites are growing and each industry is getting bigger online. The Knot Wedding Shop (what an appropriate name) proclaims itself as the largest retailer of wedding supplies on the internet. They claim to offer comparable prices and hard to find supplies, including wedding cameras and cake toppers (the little people on the cake I guess). I couldn't imagine buying a whole wedding setup online, but if your in a pinch on the days to come, they may then be worth considering.

Money From Friends
I had a nice surprise - a cheque (check) from the Friend Finder Group for US$107. It was a surprise because I didn't think I had earned nearly that much. I've published a copy of the cheque (with personal details omitted) just to show I'm not telling porkies! So who are the Friend Finder Group? They have some 19 million plus members worldwide and operate 25+ websites, mostly within the friendship and contacts market. A few titles are: Friend Finder, Adult Friend Finder, Asia Friend Finder, Big Church, Filipino Friend Finder, Gay Friend Finder and then there are the German, Italian, French, Jewish, Korean Friend Finders plus one for Seniors. There's a full range to cover most interests.
By becoming an affiliate it's possible to promote all 25+ sites, or just one, the choice is yours. You can also choose the commission plan that suits you best. For example, some have: Pay Per Click or Per Order Payouts or a Percentage Program with Recurring Bonuses. There are also additional earnings available for introducing new affiliates. The commission is normally 10% of what they earn. So there's lots of potential and choice. Payment is made to affiliates once US$50 has been earned.
My own commission has mostly come from Friend Finder and Adult Friend Finder and for introducing new affiliates. I chose the Percentage Payouts with Recurring Bonususes. I've got to admit, though, that it is the adult market that is the biggest earner.
So that is the Friend Finder Group. It's a massive market. As you may have read in my article Publishing Penfriend Magazines I was in the Penfriend Publishing business a few years back. It's something that I don't seem to be able to get away from.
Now a couple of things. Firstly I'm only mentioning how much I earn as an illustration and to indicate that it is possible. For example, if you were to become an affiliate it doesn't mean that you will automatically do as well - but on the other hand, of course, you may do better ... who knows.
Good luck,
Mike.

Jumping on the MyLot Bandwagon
What is MyLot?
MyLot is similar to a forum, you start or participate in discussions, unlike most forums though, the discussions can be about any subject. The most important difference between MyLot and forums is that MyLot pay you for contributing.
How much do you get paid?
How much you get paid depends on the quality of the contributions. Nobody except MyLot know exactly how the payments are worked out, but there seems to be some complex algorithm that rewards for quality. What this means is you get paid less or possibly even nothing for simple one word answers, and more for more thorough answers. Although even if the quality of your responses are high the payouts are still small, only a few cents, you have to do a lot of writing to make significant amounts.
You can also make money by referring new members, getting a percentage of what they earn.
Why join?
There are a couple of reasons I can see for joining, and I have listed them below.
- If you like to participate in forums and discussions anyway, you may as well get paid something to do it.
- Traffic to your website or blog. By adding you site address to your MyLot profile and in your responses (only where appropriate), you will likely generate some extra traffic.
- Making money by starting and participating in as many discussions as possible and from referrals.
Conclusion
So far I have only participated in about 20 discussions and only made about $0.50, but after responding to a money making discussion and including my blog address, I did receive an extra 25- 30 hits. I think if you have time and like to participate in lots of discussions this can be a good way of making a few extra quid and maybe even generating some traffic to your own blog or website, but it won't make you a living. Give it a try and see what you think.

Tommy Cooper Jokes
Dear Mother,How nice to hear you are well. Looking forward to seeing you in January. All day yesterday I heard a ringing in my ears. Then I picked up the phone and it stopped.
I was going to see a doctor, but he's not a very good doctor. All his patients are sick.
The wife and I are on a new diet. We eat breakfast in the raw. Then we eat our lunch in the raw. For dinner we put our clothes on.
See you soon,
Love,
Son.
The above is a copy of a private letter sent to his mother by the late British comedien Tommy Cooper. He's not to everyone's taste but I always found him very funny, even though his jokes were corny like:
A man walks into a bar. It didn't half hurt, it was an iron bar.
It's strange isn't it? You stand in the middle of a library and go, 'Aaaaaagh!' and everyone stares at you. But if you do the same thing on a plane everyone joins in.
I've got the best wife in England. The other one's in Africa.
My dog took a bite out of my knee the other day and a friend of mine said, "Did you put anything on it?" I said, "No, he liked it as it was."
I think inventions are marvellous, don't you? Wherever they put a petrol pump they find petrol.
It must be getting near Christmas or something!
Good blogging,
Mike.

BAYB's Blog of the Year
First you may submit your blog, or someone else's for consideration. I will use my own discretion as to which blogs will be accepted, but I am sure 99% of them will. You may only have one of your blogs submitted. The polls will be broken up into blogs of 5. The blog that receives the most votes in their bracket will move on to the final voting round. I'm hoping for about 25 blogs, so the finals should consist of 5 blogs or more. If it is a lot more again we will go another week. Each vote will be in week intervals, so you have plenty of time to get your votes in.
The winner will receive of course the title of blog of the year. All the results will be from your readers and ours, so you will need to promote for votes! I can offer possibly banner space on this blog, or some kind of featured spot for the winner. Ultimately it should drive a nice amount of traffic to your site, and a nice notch under your belt that you are doing something right! Just for participating you will get a free link to us pointing to your site.
Submissions start immediately, email me at ff_n_stuff@yahoo.com to get your blog on a poll. This will close in one week, and the voting will begin. I hope to see you submitting your blogs soon!
Thanks to Mike for the great feedback on this project.

Bidvertiser, Free Advertising
I tried google adwords and wasn't really satisfied with it, so I figured I would put the advertising on hold. I got an email from bidvertiser promoting their 20$ in free pay per click advertising. Why not?
The problem I have had with them was the credit card. They call you to verify it, which makes no sense to me. Anyways, they did and it took at least a week, but it's worth it for free advertising.
So here I am passing off this great offer to you. Give them a try, if you don't like it at least you got 20$ in free clicks! I'll tell you how this goes when my 20$ is up! Enjoy.

Check Your Credit Report
In the UK, and probably the rest of the world as well, it's important that our credit standing is in good order. It's advisable, therefore, that we check our Credit Reports to make sure that the information on file is correct. This will ensure that there is no one else using our details for fraudulent means. Also there shouldn't then be any nasty surprises if we decide to apply for such things as a mortgage, loan, credit card, finance and so on.What information is contained in a Credit Report?
Credit references agencies – the largest in the UK is Experian – collate information about your financial background and past behaviour and format this data into your unique credit report.
Click here to see your Experian credit report online for FREE
Lenders see this information when they decide whether or not to offer you a loan, mortgage or credit card. It influences their assessment of the likelihood that you will repay them.
Information comes from two main sources:
• Public records, such as court judgements, individual voluntary arrangements and bankruptcies. Your credit report also shows whether you are registered to vote – lenders use this as a precaution against fraud, to check that you are who you claim to be and live where you say you do.
• Information from lenders and financial institutions, such as records of the number of loans you have and whether you have ever missed a repayment.
It’s important that all this information is as up to date as possible and correctly reflects your circumstances. Then lenders will make the best-informed decisions – and you will get the right deal.
The easy way to check your credit report is to log onto CreditExpert, the credit monitoring and identity protection service from Experian.
Click here for a free, 30-day trial, which will allow you to see your credit report as often as you like.

Blogging on other sites does work!
It was cool to be invited to post on this "serious" blog, not what I expected when I first started the Pisstakers website, but this idea of cross-pollination is an interesting development. So, after writing a deadly serious post about Swiki search, I took a look at our search stats. Spike, anyone! Most excellent, and proof if ever there was, that humor is unnecessary in explaining the world of on-line search. However, one less demoralising conclusion for me as a writer is that contributing to someone else's webspace is a pretty good way to get exposure - even if one look at our link confirmed to curious visitors that there is no place in their blogging life for anything so web 2.0 as Swikis!
Hey, how cool would it be for serious bloggers to let their hair down once in a while and send a short rant or witty observation to The Pisstakers! 4 to 400 lines, not too many links and ...? I know of at least one very serious Cornishman who writes in a suit, and he has a very wicked pen when he wants, so there must be other wits in less conservative clothes with equally rad stuff to get off their chest? If you are seeking some free expression and free traffic from our front page, why not email your post to editor@thepisstakers.com - it could change your life, and spike your traffic for at least a day.

Belisi Fashions
To be honest I've never heard about Peter Belisi or Belisi Fashions. I'm not much of a suit and tie kind of guy, at least not yet. I've looked at their products and they are nice looking. Belisi's idea is to basically accessorize your wardrobe, which seems to be a popular fashion tip. To separate yourselves as an individual, or set apart a new outfit, it comes down to your accessories. Belisi are more luxurious accessories, which seem to particularly feature ties. It appears they are looking to expand their product base to accommodate everyone. I would like to personally see them make a more affordable tie and keep that same quality.

There is money in searches!
Swikis
These are a different sort of search feature - search engine based, but built around a selection of keyword tags that the blogger inputs into the system. The keywords are organised in a word cloud, one of those fancy graphical lists that are becoming all the rage! From the user's point of view, you get a box of words that we have included from our articles in the various Pisstakers blogs. Click on a word or phrase, a search results page appears, and off you go, surfing the web. Usually our site appears in the list, and hopefully even an article related to the keyword, but if we don't show, it doesn't really matter. The idea we have is to use it as another form of entertainment, another springboard for people to surf, you know, in the spirit of the internet, set the user free! We know they will come back to us, because there is nothing quite like the Pisstakers.
Eurekster, provide all the code and the options to set up a color-coded presentation box, pretty much to your liking. There are many ways to customise the Swiki, including advertising slots involving Adsense, or your own affilaites too.
Eurekster also give you a ready reckoner of how much your swiki might be worth to a website buyer. We are at over $750 now, based on the $75-worth of clickthroughs we have currently generated, times a factor of 10, which is at least a starting point for negotiations, if it ever came to selling. (Probably more fun that fact at the moment, but search is going to get bigger over time, so why not get in on this company's ground floor?)
Interesting feature, and free to use!! Our Swiki is here.

My Blog Update
I've just been updating my blog with my latest Weekly Report. This shows what I've managed to earn in commissions from affiliate programs and so on since I began my Mike's Money Making Mission twelve weeks ago.I'm not (yet!) making big money but I'm now over the $600 mark, which I'm happy with, considering I didn't know quite where I was heading when I set up this first blog.
If you look at my report you'll see that the major part of my money has come via friends and contacts affiliate programs and also those under the Commission Junction heading.
This week I also received money from myLot, so it's nice to be able to confirm that they pay out on time (by PayPal). I've also had over 240 referrals from their site.
New articles on my other blogs include:
10 Sizzling Tips For Affiliates by Ken Hill.
That's all for today.
Good blogging,
Mike.

How they managed to convince the killer bees I was an appropriate target I don’t know. Maybe they gave them little teeny tiny bowler hats and shares in BHB Inc with options to sell after…. look it matters not. Matters not? What type of language is that? They’ve got me all flustered.
Let me paint the picture for you. There I was in the sandbox in the backyard practising uncovering ancient treasures and maybe making the odd sandcastle. When I heard the buzzing around my head. Killer Bees!!! I yelped because if you’re going to be fearful of something it may as well be Killer Bees. Sure you could be scared of the Easter Island statues coming to life at night and peeking through your bedroom window while you try to sleep but believe me that’s a whole other kettle of fish that you really don’t want to deal with right now.
Sweet god now I’m thinking about those bloody statues again! Like I need something else to worry about.
Anyway back to the original problem. The Killer Bee landed on my leg but before it could sting me I very calmly brushed it off and ran into the house leaving my poor dog to deal with the bee...

Car Insurance Quote
Experimenting with more product placement and advertising in movies, Progressive Direct offers a feature on the newest Fast in the Furious Movie, Tokyo Drift. If you own this movie and didn't know, there is an option you can turn on to have the Progressive damage calculator. During the movie you can see how much each thing costs as they damage or ruin it. For more information on that you can see it at www.progressivefastandfurious.com. This seems to be the first of many new products that can be better placed in movies. It opens the door not only for the big companies to further promote, but some of the smaller ones that don't have as particularly easy products to sell or promote.
Car insurance is a necessity and can be a hassle. CarInsurance.com is partnered and affiliated with many different companies, and can offer a lot of features because of that. You can shop for insurance, get free estimates, and get real questions answered, by one or many different companies. If your looking for a free car insurance quote CarInsurance.com seems like a good place to start.Labels: car insurance, fast and furious, free

It seems everyone is talking about making money online with Google Adsense. Everyone is trying this. Everyone wants money. Now I know I'm over exaggerating, not everyone uses adsense, in fact some people hate it. And not everyone wants money, but more and more people are turning to the internet and google adsense to make money. I will admit that I first started this blog to make some money, but the more effort and time I put into it (I hope it shows) the more that making money is not my focus. This blog has become my baby, and I love it. Although I love it, making money is still one of my goals. I would like to provide some income for my family so that burden doesn't fall entirely on my husband. SO I have been reading article after article about this topic. It seems that people will tell you how to make a lot of money with google adsense and tell you that they are making a lot of money but no one ever says how much they are making. I'm sorry for being nosy but I want to know what kind of money we are talking here, I want numbers! I finally found an article that interviews some people who use google adsense and are making over $1000/month (they keep saying that is possible). I was so happy to finally find an article that gave me real numbers. This article was also very insightful with details about adsense and how to make it work for you. I completely recommend reading this article. Some of the things brought up you probably will have heard before but perhaps you haven't. Perhaps just reading it will inspire you to keep going. Maybe it will give you an idea to tweak something on your site to improve. Whatever advice you are looking for, I hope you find it in this article. I know it inspired me. I know I need to clean up my template and the sidebars and I have had a few ideas through reading this article. It is located on the website called 1st Search Engine Rankings SEO Blog and the specific article I'm referring to is "How to make money with Google Adsense" . Enjoy and happy learning!
This post was originally published on Random Encounters of We.Technorati Rank
I've noticed a complete drop in the authors posting. I'm not sure how to attract more of you to post, but we get great traffic. Yesterday we had 190+ unique visitors. Just by posting anything you could be getting more visitors to your site.
I wanted to thank everyone who links to us, on technorati we our rank is as follows:
Blog about your Blog
Rank: 162,592 (43 links from 22 blogs)
Thats a great stat to see, just by adding our link, others may do the same and join us. That branches out for more visitors and readers and more exposure for everything you write. I've noticed a few other community blog promotion blogs, but they seem to die out, without dedication by the authors.
I'm definitely set on expanding this site, and you may notice a few sponsor posts, or different ads. They are definitely helping paying off webhosting. I hope to see more people posting, and if your not an author, email me!

Gold
When I think of having true wealth, I don't picture pieces of paper, I picture treasure. Treasure is usually depicted as gold. Monex Deposit Company gives you the ability to get your own treasure. They offer personal delivery, or safe storage of gold and other precious metals. To invest in something like gold, you can get it in coin or ingot form. Ingots, also know as gold bars, are cast rather than stamped, and therefore are often thicker than stamped bars. As you can imagine, gold is a unique investment. It has been classified as riches since early history and has been highly valued throughout the world. He who has the gold, makes the rules.Labels: bars, gold, investment, metal, Monex, rich, treasure
Digg and Reditt
I've been experimenting with Digg and Reddit.com lately. My results have been positive and I am pleased to see a few extra hits by simply submitting articles and blog posts to these websites.DiggDigg appears to be more popular. I like the layout and the idea of Diggs. Each article I've submitted to Digg has at least reffered 1 user, with many getting more than 10. The number has climbed per article if I get diggs later and promote the link. Most of the initial traffic is just by being in the "upcoming" stories. Most of my articles had only a few diggs, nothing huge, but with the idea of the website, more diggs equals more exposure, that's not bad. Basically just by submitting an article, I am guaranteed a handful of visitors, with the potential of thousands.
I actually just used this last night before I went to bed. I submitted the article 7 Steps to Getting Traffic to your Blog. When I checked the stats we had recieved 10+ hits from them, without getting many votes. For a blogger, each and every hit can help, 10-20 extra hits a day is huge. Submitting an article is easy, and takes literally a few seconds.

Place Your Free Cosmic Order On The Internet
Okay here's something far removed from the usual stuff I write. How do you fancy getting all that you want by asking the Cosmic?
Well I guess that will have turned a few people off!
Anyway, one of the blogs I exchange ads with has adapted Cosmic Ordering for the Internet. So what is Cosmic Ordering? Well it's caught on big in Germany and also in the UK through television presenter, Noel Edmunds. He claims that some of the 'things' he has asked the Cosmic for (a house in France, TV work etc) have come about.
The blog eCosmic writes:
"... but first, just to clarify, eCosmic isn't anything religious, it's not a cult or anything similar. It's simply a proven system to bring about changes in your life."
Mumbo jumbo or could it possibly work? What do you reckon?
Good blogging,

Increase Link Popularity
Every blogger or website owner wants a great search engine ranking, preferably from google. It's ideal to have you keywords come up first or at least on the front page of a search result. A lot of people seemingly worry about Page Rank (PR), but that has little to do with it. Exchanging links can help improve your search engine ranking, but the best thing is to have a lot of different sites pointing to yours. The best kind of link to have from someone is to be linked in their website content.
How can you get so many different websites pointing to your website? A program that Blogitive offers may be the answer you are looking for. Blogitive can help you increase link popularity. With several bloggers promoting and writing opinions about your site and keywords, it will be an instant increase of link popularity. A program like this is something I definitely look forward to being involved in, in the future.Blog Addiction
I have created my 3rd and last blog, hopefully. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do with it but I figured it out.

myLot Earnings & Referrals
There has been quite a bit of interest on various blogs about the worth of myLot, so I thought I'd throw in my two-penny worth as well.
I covered the subject on my own blog recently in a post called myLot, Money and Referrals but I thought I'd publish a few figures here.
So what can you earn?
Well it's a lengthy old business to make money by simply commenting and starting up discussions. To make it a more viable you really need to refer others to myLot. I see this as the only way to make it financially worthwhile. With referrals you get 25% of what they earn, so this could possibly add up, if you can introduce enough people.
I've been with myLot now for 21 days and, as an illustration, this is what I have earned:
From discussions $15.25
From photos $0.11
From referrals $9.91
This is a total of $25.27.
But there's more.
I feel that the main benefit from myLot is the visitors that I have had to my blog. There have now been well over 200 hits from their site. Mind you, I haven't been backward in leaving my blog address whenever possible! I mention more about this in my blog's post, which I mentioned earlier.
My conclusion is that myLot is worth joining, if you have the time - providing you can introduce referrals and use it to promote your own blog.
Good blogging,
Mike.The results are in but...
Apparently Blogger Beta is the obvious choice among those who have voted, but due to my girlfriends generousity (lol) she is going to buy me a website (another one).
I want to expand blog about your blog to not just a blog to promote your website, but a forum where you can not only do that, but as questions and get answers. With the great members here already, I know we could have successful forums, and basically a very successful website.
Now I've been sitting here for about 20 minutes trying to think of a domain name. My best one I've come up with is bloggingaddiction. Pleaseee please submit any ideas you have to me! I'd love response from our readers and my fellow authors.
I hope to have the money to get this on Monday so you have all day tomorrow to give me some more ideas! I want something with blog, but EVERYONE has blog. Unique but easy to remember. Catchy. You guys are smart and creative I know we can figure out something great!
Thanks!Saturday, December 09, 2006
Blogger Beta
Finally we have the option to move our community blog to blogger beta. I know some or most of you already use this. I figure I would be diplomatic and run a poll.
Simple, if you think we should switch vote yes, if not vote no. Thanks!
Pinstripes & Ponders
Many people are familiar with notification services like Bloglet. They're nice because they allow readers of blogs to keep up-to-date with the latest posts at blogs they frequent. The same can be achieved with RSS feed readers too. But all these services are limited in their ability to deliver content (and sometimes their not the most reliable).
As an author, it's crucial to keep those who are interested in my work updated. For this reason, I also publish a monthly newsletter that combines my writing news with my blogging endeavors. It's titled "Pinstripes & Ponders" because this quick little publication nicely ties together the primary things I cover as a blogger and author of books, articles and more.
The next issue is scheduled to be broadcast on New Years Day and will contain the release information of my upcoming book "Baseball in Fort Wayne" as well as a promotional video and a contest where you can win a FREE signed copy of my book. To sign up, just click the image below and complete the quick registration. If you're a BE user, make sure you enter your BE user name and maybe I'll send you some credits just for subscribing!
My Weekly Report
It's the end of the week for me, as regards my blog Mike's Money Making Mission. This means my latest post is my Weekly Report. I publish this each week showing what I have earned and from where, my top referrers and so on.
I've been going now for eleven weeks and I'm pleased that I have achieved one of my targets, which was to try and make $500 by the end of this year. I know this is an insignificant amount compared with some bloggers achievements but I'm still chuffed.
That's the good thing about making targets and objectives it keeps you motivated and, when you reach one of your benchmarks, it gives you encouragement as well.
I'm off to buy a good bottle of red wine to celebrate. Okay, maybe two bottles!
Good blogging,
Mike
P.S. It's also good to see that Blog about your Blog brought me 22 referrals last week - thanks!Friday, December 08, 2006
Soapbox Jury
Soapbox Jury, as the name implies, is a brand new site for voicing opinions and passing judgement. The exact purpose of Soapbox Jury is to critique websites (mainly), products, services and ideas. We will try and give a balanced, fair and honest review of any item we include. Whatever the content of a Soapbox Jury review it will heighten awareness of the item featured. We are particularly keen to review the following:
Websites:
If you have a website that is targeted at a wide range of people (no password protected or group sites) then submit it here for some publicity. You'll get a backlink just for suggesting it. If we select it for review then you will get a couple of paragraphs of comment and a screenshot published.
Blogs:
We're also interested in reviewing blogs - the work of individuals instead of businesses. We're not aware of any other site that provides independent, third-party reviews of blogs at the moment, so hopefully Soapbox Jury can fill this niche. If you successfully get a review of your blog/website you are guaranteed to get at least one backlink, a full paragraph of comment and a screenshot published.
Products and Services:
Soapbox Jury prefers web reviewing, but we'll also review products or services if requested to. Please only ask for a product review if that product is readily available to us for testing.
Every website/blog that is submitted will receive at least one backlink, guaranteed. We will also consider whether your site is suitable for the BlogRolls of our 4 other sites - you could get up to 5 links pointing at your site just for suggesting it! Backlinks to your site are important for building up search engine traffic and increasing your PageRank.

Everything a beginner needs to know about Digg.com
I recently submitted a few of my articles to Digg and I have been unsuccessful with getting 'dugg'.
Even without getting diggs I have attracted viewers to my site. Not only viewers, but quality visitors. They are looking under my topic, and clicking my titles to view what I wrote.
For 24 hours your stories will be on the "upcoming" pages, basically getting viewed. From what I understand if you get diggs your story remains on that getting placed more prominently with the more diggs you get.
How do you get diggs?
First attach a button to your article on your site. You can find digg buttons under the 'tools' section.
One thing I like is that you are allowed to ask for diggs, opposed to some advertising sites etc where you can't ask for clicks. You can email friends and/or family your topics so they can 'digg' them. Viewing and digging your friends topics are actually encouraged and made easier with their friends activity feature. I can see, view, and vote for all my friends diggs with just one click.
In conclusion, you may not get on the elite front page which is supposed to get you thousands views, but for the common blogger like myself, everything counts. Regardless of the diggs you get, you are sure some visitors to follow. A handful, or a thousand, its good enough for me.

Hit Exchanges Produce Artificial Results
After yesterday having a pop at Blog Directories, saying that most are a waste of time, the latest post on my own Blog is about the Hit Exchanges - Blog Mad, Blog Explosion, Blog Soldiers and the like.
My opinion, after giving them a good trial, is that they too are not worth the effort. All they produce are cosmetic statistics that are of little value. To see the full post please click here.
I think that's my moans out of the way now and, hopefully, I can dwell on the more positive aspects of blogging in the future.

Let’s face it; we all want to make money online with as little effort as possible.
I recently came across mylot. It is a simple, easy and fun way to make money online. Basically, Mylot is like a discussion board where you get paid to contribute. It takes very little effort to add your input to several discussions but it can earn you money.
I will be honest with you; you won’t make a lot of money. However, the minimum payout is $10 and that is well within reach.

After the post below regarding blog directories I thought I'd follow it up with a look at Blog Exchanges such as BlogMad or Blog Explosion etc.
There is no denying that these exchanges will bring hits to your blog. No one can say that it's all good quality traffic but you are certainly getting traffic. I'm a member of four of these exchanges and I've begun to notice it all wearing a little thin on me.
If you have a couple of blogs you automatically halve the traffic on your blogs that you're earning so you have to work twice as hard to benefit from the exchange. Also think about how much time you spend surfing - it's a great way to see other blogs but you begin to see the same blogs over and over.
Time is money as they say and particulary on an exchange that rarely offers bonus points unless you pay to upgrade your membership.
When you first start out I think a blog exchange is really important to catch a few people to read the site and to give yourself a bit of momentum - there's nothing like seeing your first 100 visitors a day to get you posting!
But after a while the same people are seeing your blog and it's kind of a circular thing. If you like another person's blog surely you'll blogroll them or subscribe via RSS.
I'm really torn over if the time invested is a positive thing when you should be out there creating connections to others - blogging is all about relationships. Use google blog to find topics you're interested in or that your targetted market are interested in and leave comments there.
Perhaps it is blogs like this one that are the future of marketing your blog - I personally haven't received a huge amount of traffic however I know for a fact from emails and comments that the ones I have gotten are of quality.
The age old quality over quantity arguement.
I'd be interested in what you all think so comment away!

The Secret Of Life
The lead article of the latest Time magazine is entitled God Vs. Science, reflecting the ongoing controversy about whether science can be used to either prove or disprove the existence of God. This follows the recent publication of The God Delusion, the latest attack on religion by the biologist and evangelical atheist Richard Dawkins. Meanwhile, similar arguments rage around the blogosphere, with atheists and believers locked at each other’s throats, attempting to prove that they are right and the others wrong, seeking to assert their beliefs (or lack of them) with desperate intensity.
Generally speaking, these quarrelsome people do have something in common however. They all want to make the world a better place. The only point in dispute is how to do it.
The believers think that if everyone follows their faith, people will start to treat each better. The atheists believe the same thing, pointing to religious conflict as evidence to support their case. Is there any way out of this impasse? Is there any way to consensus?
The Secret Of Life is a blog which looks in an entertaining way at spiritual issues, and which politely suggests that it might be possible to view the world in a very different way: to get away from conflicts over ideas and look instead at the world as it actually is. What if we are able to use gentle shifts in perspective to reveal a whole new way of being, one which can free us from negative thought patterns and connect us instead with a natural field of energy? This is a field which radiates love and responds to human thought, a field which some might view as a natural source of power like electricity – yet others might call divine.
Take a look at The Secret Of Life and see what you think. As a starting point, try clicking on 'Popular Posts' in the sidebar. All you need to bring is an open mind…
Are Blog Directories Worthwhile?
One of the things that a lot of 'experts' seem to advise is to get your blogs listed on as many Blog Directories as possible. Well I did this, when I first started my blog. I signed up with over 50 different directories. The conclusion? In the majority of cases this was an absolute waste of time.
I have written a post, Secret Of Getting Success With Blog Directories, about this on my blog and I have listed, what I consider to be the Top Ten Directories i.e. from where I have got the best response.
My findings may be different from other bloggers but they are based on actual referrals. One thing I will say now is: size isn't everything!
Good Blogging,
Mike.My Letter to Santa
Well, I finally did it. Here I am, all of thirty years old, and I have finally written my first letter to Santa. I'm at a point, where I look at the world around me, and I really want to beleive there is a being who can bring gifts of joy into society and make things better. So, I sat down and penned a humble request to the jolly one. Hopefully he'll respond to this letter.Tuesday, December 05, 2006
Moving To The Right Location...
Howdy everybody. I guess you have noticed the change in look of my blog. This is purely temporary and should only last less than a day. I've decided to move my blog to my website instead of having it hosted on blogger. Just seems to make sense if the goal is to drive traffic to my website. Plus I can make use of better tools like PHP, Java, Flash if need be and not be constricted by any one template. I may have to abandon the blogspot.com domain but I would really like to try and keep it. Right now I am cohabitating both domains xy35.blogspot.com and my new home times.xy35.com. They work just fine but I can't use PHP scripts and my website templates in its current form because blogger.com is forcing me to use their templates. If anybody knows a workaround I would appreciate it. Not that my design and SEO skills are all that great but being forced to use a template is rather constricting (not being able to use META tags, rejecting certain Java scripts, not accepting PHP scripts, etc). That is why I would like to move to my own site.
Anyway, I figure now would be the time to make the switch before I had a lot of traffic, sites linking in, etc. I've seen some really nice sites that use blogspot and use their own hosting so if you have any suggestions please let me know. I'll eventually figure something out but having somebody point me in the right direction would be awesome!
Mark

This time of year, I do a lot of thinking about traditions, and I am sure many others do the same. What makes things become tradition? I've got some ideas. I'd love to hear about yours . . ."Twiglet" the Little Christmas Tree
I would like to tell you about a new children's book titled "Twiglet" the Little Christmas Tree. This is a story about discoveries, miracles, and friendships! The main characters are twins, Rueben and Rachel Oliver, who learn some important lessons about helping others and hard work. This story is filled with horses, a dog, and several cats. It is with Brown Sugar (Gramma Oliver's bay mare) that the twins find "Twiglet" for the first time and Star and Blaze are given to the twins by Gran'pa Shepherd, the owner of the Christmas Tree farm!
The book is fully illustrated with the artwork of Phyllis Mae Richardson Fisher, who is also the senior author of "Twiglet". As you lay this book flat to enjoy the 186 pages, the cast of characters, cast of animal characters, and glossary of terms, enhance your reading experience. Follow the link to "Twiglet's Blog" to find out more about this year round book that culminates at Christmas time each year. "Twiglet" the Little Christmas Tree is listed as recommended reading by R.R. Bowker, the leading book industry resource for "new titles, new authors, and the general scoop on the book industry!" Presently this wonderful new book is sold exclusively in PJ's Corner.

Remember the parameters are not necessarily production value and taste but is it effective in creating traffic. Now if production values and taste are poor it could have a negative impact on traffic. Without futher adue here is the experiment: Women In Motion
If you didn't read what this is all about here is the original post: Creative Marketing

Start Your Own Amazon Store
Have you started your Amazon aStore yet?
It's now possible to have your own Amazon webpage, showing products of your choice, plus you can call it whatever you wish - within reason!
I've started one myself, called Blogging Good Blogs. It's very easy to set up and if, in a few weeks time, I want to change the name and everything else well I can.
To get your own aStore simply sign up as an affiliate with the Amazon website, which you would normally use for your country.
A free webpage, big reliable company, thousands of products, potential commission - what are you waiting for?
Oh, the more difficult bit, of course, is getting potential customers to go to your store and actually buy something! But it can be done - and it costs nothing to try.
Good blogging,

Some cars we all know and love
Last Saturday my husband and I went to his company party at the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. At the museum were some cars we all know from TV and film. I thought most would find it interesting to see these actual cars from the shows. This of course is Herbie the love bug.
Creative Marketing
Creative Marketing
As promised before I am going to use a creative marketing strategy tonight. I make no apologies for it but I believe it will be interesting to see the results even though I believe they will be predictable. Up until now my blog has been about primarily my efforts to gain traffic. Through MyBlogLog.com I am able to watch my traffic slowly grow. As stated before it as actually growing fairly quickly. Here below are some quick statistics (consider my first day was December 2, 2006 and today is December 4,2006 and there are 4 hours left in the day):
12/2/06
17
2
12/3/06
109
14
12/4/06
120
29
All promising ...slowly building considering the generic content. But what happens if we add something a little more interesting? Well I have that something a little more interesting. It's nothing spectacular as far as production value is concerned...in fact...the quality is rather low. Not unacceptable low but the content is well you will have to see for yourself. I almost guarantee that it will generate traffic like this blog in its current format would never do.
What is it? Basically it is a video of some VERY attractive Latin American women television personalities dancing with some dance club music dubbed in. It is not obscene or late night Showtime material so it is certainly appropriate to show but it is quite fetching. It will be interesting to see what the stats look like when this is posted. Does this video have anything to do with my blog? About is much as attractive women have to do with Makita tools have to do with Calendars! So absolutely! There is a method to the madness.

It's Mostly About The Benjamins
It's Mostly About The BenjaminsOne thing I have noticed about blogging so far is that it is easier to drive traffic to your blog than to your website. I have been blogging for several days and have already captured an audience (however small...and I thank you) whilst for the past month I have been developing my website the gains have been much harder to come by and the traffic is much less predictable, consistent and targeted. Yes the gains and hits are there, but they have come through much effort and some expense (albeit the expense has been relatively minor).
Now blogging on the other hand seems to have a greater reward to effort quotient. In a relatively short time you can link up with people, other blogs, etc. This in turn creates much needed traffic, linkage and relevancy to your blog which in turn makes it monetarily relevant. Now I understand blogging is many things to many people...a place to write, connect with other people, share your thoughts and yes it is a place for commerce as well. I don't think a blog has to be exclusively commercial or non-commercial to be relevant. Where I think this blog is heading...and might be interesting as that it is mostly about the quest for commercial viability but it is written in a very personal way. It has a little bit of soul. I've gone around and I have seen many blogs that I have enjoyed very much but they either seem to be very commercial or very personal. Maybe this will fill a niche.

Are you too cynical?
I was watching the TV the other night and one of the advertisements that McDonalds are currently running in Australia regarding their "make up your own mind" campaign got me thinking.
I'm vegetarian, for a number of reasons that I won't go into here so automatically McDonalds is probably not going to be my friend (especially since they don't bother with the vegie burger anymore - hey I know no one bought them but it's nice to have the option!). Their ads have two extremely fake individuals who 'work' at McDonalds and are sick of their friends perpetuating the 'myths' regarding what goes into McDonalds food. They take to the road in their P plate cars and show up at various very clean packing facilities and are told by the managers there that the food is as pure as the driven snow.
I'd be interested in whether or not this is actually effective for them. Or are others just as jaded as I am and cannot believe the 'fakeness' of the whole thing.
The reason why this got me really thinking is how does a jaded market place effect the world of business blogging. I tell my clients and I genuinely believe that by having an honest blog where you do try and share your enthusiasm you can change public perception.
It's important to address 'issues' that your cutomer base don't like. Obviously if you were a logging company and someone has an issue with your cutting down trees there isn't a hell of a lot you can do about that.
My advice in that situation would be simply to say something along the lines of ' yes we understand the concerns that you have about us cutting those trees down so in order to be responsible we also have this planting/environmental program running...'
Don't ignore the negative but also try and highlight the positive - you won't convince the truely angry members of the community but you may be able to let less radical elements know that you aren't a heartless corporation!
Of course you could be environmentally responsible in the firstplace!!!! (which is my preference)
Best Regards
Lee
If you are interested business blogging consultancy you can contact me at Quit Your Day JobIt's All About The Content Baby
Today I bring you Content...well sort of. I think it is something that you will enjoy and something that takes a little pressure off me. It's a little thing called an RSS feed. RSS or Really Simple Syndication is basically a script where you have constantly updated content whenever the creator of the content updates their content. I choose to use the BloggersBlog.com is the source of my content. It seems to be an interesting blog and falls in line with my content. The only disadvantage is that I am forced to use Java Script versus PHP which makes it robot unfriendly...but lets not go there for now. If anybody has any tips as far as how to make this site more robots friendly I would love to hear them.I know there are several ways to do this but what I did is went to www.rssfeedreader.com filled out the little form (don't worry you won't get spammed...I used a test email several weeks ago and it came out good...no spam) and you get a password and username. It's pretty self explanatory. If you have your own website I would highly suggest using PHP because the search engine spider recognize that script versus Java. Next go to chordata.info, topix.net or countless other sites and grab free rss feeds that might be of interest to your readers. I hope your enjoy the tip and the content!
I have an idea/experiment that will get my hit count on my blog explode...I think it will be beautiful in its simplicity. Until then tuned and please go to my web page @ www.xy35.com (because if you have read from the very beginning this is what it is all about) and join my community at MyBlogLog.com

7 Steps to Getting Traffic to your Blog
I frequently see the question asked how can I receive more traffic to my blog? Whats the secret in getting traffic?
Here are some of the best and easiest ways to get traffic to your blog.
1. Traffic Exchanges
Traffic exchanges are the easiest way to promote your site if you have time. Most sites offer 1 view for 1 view. Each site you visit you will get one guaranteed. For my list of blog/traffic exchanges go here
2. Content/Keywords
To get repeat visitors, you must have good content and post almost everyday. The more you post etc, the more you are likely to get hits off of a search engine, usually Google. Your content should also include keywords related to your topic that people may be searching for.
3. Forums
If you are active on forums related to your topic, just attach your link to your signature. Don't join a bunch of forums and spam, that may get you deleted and your posts removed.
4. Yahoo Answers, Mylot, Myspace
This is similar to forums but better. On these sites you can either create threads and discussions about your topic or respond. Make sure to leave a clickable link and good information to make people want to look at your site. On these sites you have the potential to get more people reading your replies or topics.
5. Link Exchange
Try to exchange a few links with blogs related to your topic or can somehow mesh well. It will be better for you to link with a more popular blog/site but thats not always possible.
6. Topsites
Its tough to get blog traffic, and I haven't had much success with topsites in general. One particular topsite that has gotten me some traffic is Rhyswynne's Topsite. It's a nice little community, not an overgrown topsite where you only get traffic if you already have traffic.
7. Free Advertising
Free advertising?! Where? It does exist. It won't cost you any money, but it may cost you time. Some places offer banner exchanges, or clicks for banner space. Whatever the case may be, it could bring you at least some traffic. Take advantage of any opportunity you find.
I hope these were helpful, if you have anymore questions feel free to ask!

An Introduction To UK Shares And InvestmentsSaving Money and Cashback before Christmas!
A wise man said once that "It's not how much you earn, but how much you save, that makes you wealthy." It is very true this, which is why I try and save as much as I can, without overstretching myself.Alas, saving money at this time of year is a difficult process, which is why I was happy when I found this site. Hot Deals UK is a site which lists all major promotions offered by various websites, and how to get them. For example, they have an xbox premium on there for just over £200, but then it tells you ways to sell even more money!
Freefivers.co.uk lets you save money as you save. To begin with, you have £5 deposited into your account, and then depending on where you shop, there are discounts to be had. You earn either a flat rate cashback or a percentage purchase from top online stores. By completing offers, you earn either reward points or cash. After £25 is in your account, you get paid! It is a useful thing to have, especially in the run up to the Christmas Season!

Fantasy Football N' Stuff
I haven't really written about my own blog, so I will do it now.
Even though the fantasy football seasons are coming to an end, I am starting to expand my blog Fantasy Football N' Stuff. I have purchased the domain fantasyfootballnstuff.com and working on getting forums etc ASAP.
We blog about everything there regarding fantasy football whether is be injurys, advice, news or oponions. I am also available to answer any questions which I do via email every week.
Thats about it. I also want to take tell you a little more about blog about your blog. I also want to turn it into a forum and blog help/traffic site eventually. I am lacking funds to do this so this will be in the future. You will notice some experimenting with ads as well. All the money that is earned from my online incomes, will all be to the fantasy football site as well as a future one for this blog.
Mylot has been a decent earner, giving me about 7 dollars with just a few posts and referrals. It's really easy to earn money and if you want to do something on the side besides blogging, for fun, I definitely recommend it. At this rate my payout will be in no time.
Thanks for reading and thanks for all our new members for joining, and our old members for posting.
To join its fast and easy, just send an email to ff_n_stuff@yahoo.com requesting membership. Right now everyone is being accepted, I can see limits being enforced in the future. So hurry and join now!

Well this is my first post on Blog about your Blog and in the nature of what the blog is intended for I'd like to go ahead and plug one of my client's blogs that I've just set up for him.
Coast to Coast Kombis is a small business in Australia that refits old VWs and sells them to tourists or anyone else who wishes to travel around Australia in a not so burnt out Kombi! One of the other great features is that he has a buy back scheme so you're not stuck with what to do with the Kombi when you're heading home. Iain, the owner is very passionate about what he does and because of this we felt that it would be perfect for him to transfer this passion to a business blog.
As you probably already know a business blog can help develop your business image online and produce more visitors for your already established website. It's a great way for you to make a connection with your potential customers as well as letting you share some of your knowledge. You also help promote yourself as a leader in the field if people can see that you know what you're talking about!
Now most people come to blogging in a natural fashion, you read other blogs, you've got something that you want to say etc. But when a consultant comes to you with the business blogging model and throws you into the deep end it is a whole different learning curve. Becuase it's your livlihood too it's not something you wish to make too many mistakes with!
So in my first post I'd love it if you all could drop over to Iain's new blog, have a quick read and maybe drop a comment or two his way! Click Here To Visit

Free Advertisng Plus A Free Site
I can't promise that the following will prove succesful, because it is relatively new. I'm going to give it a trial because I always like free advertising - well actually I like anything free!
This is the the blurb that the website gives out:
"We're giving away FREE Classifieds Plugged-N sites that you can use to build your business VERY rapidly!
These sites are absolutely FREE and are virtually guaranteed to create traffic and build your income. Go to:Plugged-N ."
So there you are, free ads and a possible income but, for the life of me, I can't at the moment see where the income comes from! I'll be happy with the free advertising though.
Good blogging,
Mike.
